The 2006/07 season is with us once again and a big thanks to all the coaches, managers and parents for all their hard work and dedication which helps the Mini/Junior section continue to thrive.
We commence the new season fielding sides at every age group, from under 7 to under 19 (a great achievement in itself) and we have seen more of our volunteer coaches and managers gain further RFU qualifications throughout the summer (in both coaching and refereeing.)
Our director of coaching, Mark Sowerby, and our Sports Development Officer, Hamish Pratt, continue to be heavily involved in the ongoing development of the mini/juniors as we continue to strengthen links with local schools, so that we can provide the opportunity for Kirkless children to develop their interest in the sport.
Special thanks must go out to all our sponsors and, in particular, The Yorkshire Building Society, whose continued support enables us to provide all our teams with the official club strip.
New members are more than welcome to join us. Our training sessions are every Sunday, at Lockwood Park, starting at 10:30am sharp! For further details please contact the relevant team coach or manager below.
