HRUFC players play a significant part in 2012 County Championship

Huddersfield players have played a significant part in this years County Championship with Chris Johnson being Lancashire’s leading points scorer which has taken them to the final at Twickenham against Hertfordshire on Sunday, 27th May.

Nick Sharpe and Adam Ryder played for Yorkshire against Lancashire and Northumberland winning the latter game in which Ryder scored a hat trick.

Former Huddersfield players Ben Harris [ Rotherham] and Gavin Jones [Blaydon] played in all Yorkshire’s matches who have retained there Championship status having the single victory against Northumberland and losses vs. Lancashire and Cheshire.

The Club Age Grade Managers should take great satisfaction having developed so many players who have played County rugby this year.
