Newly-promoted Huddersfield is back training in preparation for the upcoming National II North campaign, with 39 players being put through their paces in Tuesday evening’s session consisting of new signings and familiar faces.
‘Field trained in Farnley Tyas, due to Lockwood Park being temporarily unavailable and the players were worked hard by the coaches with a series of fitness drills in order to get match-ready for the big kick-off against Chester on September 6th.
New First XV manager Mike Baggs was in attendance at the session and he will have been pleased with the high turnout of players so early in pre-season and with the temperature so high.
Huddersfield will return to Lockwood Park from now to continue their pre-season preparations for the summer before the warm-up matches against Sheffield Tigers and Cleckheaton on the 23rd and 30th August respectively, both at Lockwood Park.
