If you have found a broken man wandering around Huddersfield since 11am Monday, there is a good chance he had just returned from the A Team tour to Bucharest!
Twenty nine hardy soles decended on Bucharest to enjoy the hospitality in Romania, which was interupted by a couple of games of rugby played in 30 degree heat.
After enjoying a reception at the British Embassy on Friday evening, the boys played against local amateur side Arlechinii Bucuresti on Saturday lunchtime. The hosts ran out close winners after a competitive contest.
The Sunday game was played at a much more pedestrian pace with many of the team struggling with injuries due to a combination of the solid pitch and alcohol. Following an encouraging start from HRUFC and taking the lead early on, Arlechinii exploited the fading fitness and ran out comfortable winners.
