It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Wade. Jack served as club President from 1988 to 1990 and he and his companies have been one of our most generous and loyal sponsors over the years.
He was the driving force behind the redevelopment and re-location of the club at the end of the last century and its present strength is due in large measure to his boundless personal energy and drive.
His commitment to the club was recognised by the award of Honorary Life Membership. He will be greatly missed by his many friends at HRUFC. Deepest sympathy from all go to Pam.
The funeral will be held on Thursday 29th December at Huddersfield Crematorium at 1.15pm, with everyone welcome back to the Rugby Club afterwards to celebrate Jack’s life.
