It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alastair Campbell at the age of 84 years. Alastair passed away peacefully last Saturday after a short illness.
Alastair played second row for Headingley and Blackheath in his younger days and has been a member of HRUFC and regular supporter of our teams for the last few years.
Alastair recently presented the club with his collection of rugby club ties which have been framed up for display. Deepest sympathy from all at the club goes to his son Iain, daughter Fiona and all his family. Funeral details will be announced when known.
