At the AGM President Dereck Tasker presented Richard Sykes with the Jeff Hooper Memorial Trophy as Clubman of the Year 2018/19.
Dereck thanked Richard for all his work for the club on matchdays and for his contribution as a member of the Lockwood Park Volunteers, Junior Jubilee Committee and Bowling Section. He was full of praise for Richard’s role producing ‘The Laiker’, the club’s match programme, which he said was second to none and for the match reports which he produces for the media and club website.
Dereck also gave thanks and praises to photographer Ray Morris and commented on the success of the collaboration with Richard in the coverage and publicity of club affairs.
