Congratulations to Brian and Ann Stephenson on winning the Vince Clifford Trophy. The couple won the mixed pairs handicap knock out crown green bowling event beating Mark and Joanna Birch 21-10 in the final last Friday.
Mark and Joanna were hoping to achieve a ‘Triple Crown’ on the bowling green this summer having already won the HRUFC BC Men’s and Ladies ‘Merit’ competitions. However the on form Stephenson’s thwarted their ambition with a highly polished performance. Well done Brian and Ann.
