A Message from Head Coach Gareth Lewis:
Hello everyone
I hope you’re all keeping well and are ready for a return to rugby at HRUFC. The club has obviously been hit hard during the pandemic but special thanks must go to all those people who have ensured we are coming out the other side with a healthy and prosperous rugby club for everyone.
Following the government’s announcement of a return to grassroots sports, I’d like to take this opportunity to share the plans in place to rebuild our whole club culture throughout the summer and allow us to be a thriving community club once again.
I would like to invite players of all abilities (Senior, Falcons, A team, Women’s, Academy, Under 16’s, Age Grade parents etc) to the HRUFC summer touch and pass competition. The competition will run every Thursday evening beginning on Thursday 3rd June for four weeks. Each evening will conclude with a BBQ and Beers (hopefully in the sun).
Plans are also in place for a weekend ‘session’ 🏉 🍺 in June.
Please drop me a message with your name and number and I’ll add you to the competition whatsapp group.
Age and ability is no barrier (as the A-Team regularly prove) so let’s all get involved and make our club great once again!
