Grapollos a great club sponsor, was taken by surprise on Saturday evening when the U16s and parents arrived for a dinner. Live entertainment was part of the package and when they struck up “Sweet Caroline” the resulting sing song resulted in some issues downstairs. Watch the video and you may see why!!! A great night was had by all.
On top of a great night out we had an excellent 26-19 win against Pontefract on Sunday. Pontefract fielded 4 x U17 players which is something that is likely to happen quite a lot this year as many clubs, unlike Huddersfield, are struggling for numbers in their Age Grade sections. The U17 contingent was noticeable, however our lads held their nerve and discipline to bring the victory over the line. No one player requires particular mention as all played their part.
