The u11’s made the short trip down to the West Vale to play Heath RUFC. All players paid their respects before kick off standing together for the 2 minutes silence.
Both teams played well and showed some fantastic running rugby as the game progressed. Still currently playing u10 rules scrums and mauls are still areas that players are still becoming familiar with but showed great understanding when following the the crouch, bind set call.
Ollie scored Huddersfield’s first try, ripping the ball from the attacker and then turning on the afterburners to run the full length of the pitch to score. This inspired the players and Stanley showing great strength crashed through several players to go over the line for the 2nd. Owen picked up 4 tries scoring his last straight from the Kick off ripping the ball and showing a clean pair of heels to race to the line.
Overall a great game played by both sides in good spirits.
Training continues this Wednesday at 6:15pm down at Lockwood.
