It looks like the warm weather training session we had in Scarborough did the trick! The lads today brought all the fire, energy and commitment back from the seaside to deliver an emphatic 65-7 win over a Dinnington side who were pretty good but couldn’t get their hands on the ball.
With a squad of 26 and 9 players with county caps what is most pleasing is that it was the team performance that shone today. Every one of the squad played their part; the teamwork was simply magnificent.
Where next? We now await the outcome of other games to see if we have made it to the plate final. Our odds are pretty good and as such I suggest you pen Sunday 24th in your diary to watch the lads finish their Junior rugby career with silverware!

This weekend saw a number of Huddersfield players representing Yorkshire.
Field skipper, Lewis Bradley was in action for Yorkshire in their 33-31 victory over Lancashire.
Six of our under 15’s team made their debuts for Yorkshire yesterday. Well done to Jake Lynch, Zak Beck, Rufus Helm, Kobyn Lloyd Lumley, Charlie Rust and George Brown (pictured below L-R).
We also had three Under 14’s lads involved in their first DPP game at Ripon. James Wood, Lewis Bottomley and Sam Wood all played well in the game.
