Field have made their second signing of the summer as second rower Jarman Langton joins the club. The 6’8 lock will add some much needed height to the lineouts.
Langton has recently spent time away from the game in order to prepare for his career in the Army. Prior to that, Langram played for Bradford & Bingley, Doncaster Phoenix and Doncaster Knights Academy. He has also represented Yorkshire from U17-U20s and was part of a Yorkshire Terrier tour of New Zealand and Australia, earning 3 caps.
Langton said “I am really happy to have signed for Huddersfield with it being a well-established team in Yorkshire, I am looking forward to the step up into this level and the chance to develop my game further”.
Langton is currently based down South with the Army until December, so will start his time proper with Field then, but he should hopefully be available for a few games inbetween September and December when on leave.
