Today is the 25th Anniversary of the first Huddersfield RUFC game played at Lockwood Park, following the move from our previous home at Waterloo.
Halifax were the visitors for the Thwaites North Division Two fixture, as the teams also competed for the Douglas Orr Trophy.
The official opening of the grounds was performed prior to the game by John Harman, leader of Kirklees Council. An evening disco (Featuring DJ Big Jim Tate) and a buffet was held in the Waterloo Suite after the game.
