Last Sunday the HRUFC mini section headed en masse to the Sandal festival.
The weather was perfect for a days rugby.
For many of the players it was their first taste of festival rugby. Teams from all across Yorkshire and further afield gathered to take part in what was an exceptionally well organised event, a big thank you to all at Sandal.
The Under 12s got a first experience of a waterfall competition, in which they finished 3rd in their group. Great achievement given the standard of the teams attending.
Great to see so many of the Huddersfield kids proudly sporting a festival medal and big smile at the end of the day
