We called for a faster start and the band of brothers delivered! The first half was simply their best this year. The Scunthorpe Giants were shell shocked as our lads played total rugby; yes I am right it was total rugby!
We went into half time 8-0 up and it should have been more. The coaches chat at half time was simply more of the same.
Sounds too good? Yep, Scunthorpe came out in the second half with a new front 5 and bulldozed their way back into the match.
With 10 minutes to go we were level at 15-15 and sadly came out on the wrong side of 15-22 defeat.
The lads should hold their heads high as there was significant improvement.
A special mention to Archie and Shelts who both played full games yesterday and turned up today to lend a hand.
