Tomorrow’s game against Chester sees Tom Hodson rack up his 150th First XV appearance for Huddersfield. His 150 appearances come from an impressive 149 starts plus 1 solitary appearance from the bench. He has amassed 450 points in his Huddersfield career, coming from both the boot and tries.
Tom grew up playing Rugby Union after starting with Sandal RUFC aged 6, but also had spells playing Rugby League for Featherstone, Doncaster and Wakefield Wildcats. The 32-year old initially signed for Field in the 2013/14 season, after signing from Wakefield Wildcats, making his debut against Billingham. He moved to Otley for two seasons in 2016 but returned to Lockwood Park at the start of 2018/19 season.
Currently the First XV vice captain, the experienced back plays the majority of his games at full back making the most of the space afforded to him. However, he has also played at fly half, centre and wing through his Field career,
