We are extremely pleased to announce that First XV Captain Lewis Bradley, front rower Callum Thompson and Second Rower Luke Person have all re-signed for the 2023/24 season.
Since coming through our Age Grade section and making his First XV debut against Stourbridge in 2016, Lewis has gone on to gain County honours and became First XV captain at the start of the 2021/22 season. Bradley finished last season as joint top scorer with 8 tries and was picked in the Yorkshire squad for the Bill Beaumont County Championship.
Thompson had a great season in the front row putting in a number of powerful scrummaging performances, grabbing himself 4 tries in the process. The prop joined the club in the 2016/17 season from Old Brodleians and returned to Woodhead for the 2018/19 season before returning to Lockwood Park the following season. Callum has played 89 times for Field scoring 14 tries in the process.
Hard running second rower Pearson will return for his third full season with Field since joining from Ilkley. Pearson impressively played every minute of every game in the 2022/23 season scoring one try.
