GENERAL MANAGER
Salary: negotiable – subject to experience
Huddersfield R.U.F.C. Limited, based at Lockwood Park, is a multi-disciplined sports club with a full property portfolio which includes conference and banqueting facilities. Sports include Senior and Age Grade Men’s and Ladies Rugby Union, Crown Green Bowling, Road Running, Snooker, Football and Squash.
The Club are seeking a self-motivated and experienced General Manager to ensure the smooth day to day running of the Club and all its functions. This includes the management of the Clubs (non-sporting) staff.
Reporting to the Club Chairman, the General Manager will be responsible for all trading and commercial areas of the Club, including the Property Portfolio and Maintenance, Event Management, Facilities Hire and Sponsorship.
Previous experience as a General Manager in a similar sports or hospitality environment with the ability to work at weekends is essential. A proven track record of successful team leadership and management, plus excellent organisation and communication skills are required.
