Huddersfield face Fylde with both sides looking to get back to winning ways.
The First Team head to Fylde on Saturday in a battle of the Roses, after two weeks without a fixture.
Fylde, runners-up in the division last year, have lost their last 5 games, 2 more than they did in the entirety of last season. In their last game, they were beaten by league leaders Leeds Tykes 30-17.
Field have also lost their last 5 games, but Director of Rugby Neil Ryan said that he thinks that the fixture “is a good test for us and the lads are confident”.
He said the extra time to prepare has “given the lads carrying injuries some rehab and done the side well” Neil expects to have to do some defending “but when we have the ball, we need to put pressure on them.”
Neil said that “The lads are looking forward to Fylde, it’s always a tough fixture away from home but we have a good squad, so it should be a good contest.”
Kick-off is at 3pm at the Woodlands Memorial Ground.
