Callum Thompson plays his 100th Game for Huddersfield!

Congratulations to Callum (Burger) Thompson who is making his 100th appearance for the first team in the match against Lymm. Callum joined us from the Old Brodliieans in 2017 and also played at Cleckheaton. He was given the joint captaincy of the side alongside Ed Barber at the start of this season which he said, was ‘a great honour.’ The burly prop has also played rugby overseas. He spent a season with Boroondara Kiwis in Australia and also with Chicago Griffins. Callum is a hugely popular figure at the club and does a priceless impersonation of our club scribbler and programme editor Richard Sykes. Well done and all the best from all at HRUFC big man.

Director of Rugby Neil Ryan added “It is a great achievement and not an easy ask playing in the front row. His character is fantastic on and off the field and his kicking is something g to behold.”

Well done and all the best from all at HRUFC big man.
