George Kerr

It is with sadness we advise the death of George Kerr, he was the son of A.F.(Sandy) Kerr of Scottish heritage, who introduced the Annual Charity Sevens tournament which ran from the post war seasons until 1984/85.

George was an enthusiastic supporter and tourist both home and away who assisted in the management of the club kit in the years at Waterloo and was a regular ‘Gate man’

His regular post-match comment: ‘what do you think about that then?’ will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Further details and funeral arrangements to be confirmed in due course.
